After watching this TED talk on how marketing is like physics I couldn’t help but think of some of my own:
Modulation – The process of conveying information through a carrier wave. All different forms of media: twitter, facebook, television, print ads are all carriers of a Brand’s signal. The one message that they wish to convey. This is optimally demonstrated by many of the great Brands today.
Schroedner’s Equation – An equation for calculating the probability of a particle being in a certain location. All we can do as marketers is calculate the probability of an ad converting X amount of people. Nothing is for certain.
The Non-existant Magnetic Monopole – A magnetic South can’t exist without a Magnetic North. You can’t be the most better product in your category if there is nothing to compare it with.
Its nice.I liked the way how marketing is related to physics .
Thanks a lot!
