The only drawing class I’ve ever taken in my life proved to me that I am artistically challenged. Or at the very least, I can’t produce with a pencil or paintbrush the image in my head. The EyeWriter Project recently released a tracking technology so that users can produce art just by wearing special goggles. Think of it as a personal eye tracking device: you look where you want to draw, what you want to draw, and the goggles monitor your eye movement creating a drawing. Pretty cool, huh?
I was drawn to EyeWriter because it’s another one of these projects to connect the physical world (eye movement, brush-and-canvas painting) to the hardware/software world. Phone Halo falls into this same category: our bluetooth devices talk to SmartPhones to communicate geographic location of valuables.
