The biggest announcement of iPhone OS 3.0 last year was the ability for the iPhone to interact with accessories. This opened up the iPhone to hardware developers. However, we have yet to see the iPhone accessory gold rush take place. I personally feel that this is a pity and that there is a world of opportunity with developing mobile apps to interact with accessories.
I’m very happy to announce that the iPhone version of Phone Halo will change this. We’ve restructured our hardware and vamped up our software just for the iPhone. Expect our iPhone release in June. Until then, enjoy this nice example of what is possible with iPhone accessories:
